Laboratory - Thermometer Precision type- glass made.
Laboratory thermometer are used as the name says mainly in Laboratories, where you require an exact measuring.. These thermometer are filled with mercury for quick, reproduceable and exact measurements. Low - Temperature Thermometer are filled with toluene, pentane or other similar filling which do not freeze at the used temperature!
There are two diffrent type of Precision - Laboratory - Thermometer.

1. Solid stem thermometer - graduation outside of the glass as acc. to ASTM and other.

2. Enclosed scale thermometer - the milkglass scale is incorported in the glass tube!
Therefore it is much better to read and acid and lye cannot destroy the garaduation.
